Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place wire/cooling rack on top*
Pat chicken wings until completely dry and place in large bowl.
Add baking powder, salt and pepper to the bowl. Toss, ensuring chicken is coated on all sides.
Place chicken on wire/cooling rack, separated and not touching. Bake for 30 minutes.
While chicken is baking, make the sauce: in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce, butter and garlic powder. Whisk frequently until butter is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
After 30 minutes, increase oven temperature to 425 degrees and bake chicken for additional 25 minutes or until crispy and browned.
Optional: broil chicken for additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness. Monitor closely so they don't burn.
Remove chicken from oven and place in large bowl. Pour buffalo sauce on top and toss to coat.
Serve with carrots, celery, ranch or your favorite side. Enjoy!
Notes
If you don't have a wire rack or want easier clean up, skip this and place the wings directly on the aluminum foil. They won't be AS crispy, but still tasty!
